Ear Wax RemovalOur expert audiologists provide professional ear wax removal services to ensure your ears stay healthy and clear.
It's always better to have ear wax removal done by a trained audiologist, as improper methods can cause damage.
We use advanced techniques like microsuction and irrigation to safely and effectively remove ear wax. Additionally, we employ precise instrumentation when necessary to remove any stubborn wax.
Our goal is to offer you a comfortable and efficient ear cleaning experience, tailored to your specific needs.
Before your appointment
Contact us for advice on whether you should soften the wax before your appointment and which preparation to use.
Let us know if you have a perforated eardrum, grommets, previous ear surgery, ear pain or discharge. This helps us advise you appropriately.
Do not put cotton buds or other objects into your ear canals.
Our Approach
Earwax is normal and helps protect your ears. It does not always need to be removed.
We assess your ears before recommending treatment. If wax is not the cause of your symptoms, we will explain our findings and advise you on suitable next steps.
If you have hearing loss with ear pain or discharge, seek urgent advice from your GP or NHS 24 on 111.
